DOVES CAN'T FLY WITHOUT WINGS #15

Doves can’t fly without wings #15 reflects upon my school social experience. Drawing on concepts regarding the human form and it’s relationship between clothing and space in either a conventional or distorted approach; this collection explores my struggle with the ideas of belonging and disconnection during my adolescence. Doves can’t fly without wings #15 is an embodiment of self expression and sustainable practices.

Awarded the range research and design award, sponsored by textile company Hawes and Freer, as well as the conceptual resolution and sustainable practices award, sponsored by textile company Sentosa.
